The KR-115 air-powered specimen cutting press is dedicated lab equipment for preparing standardized test blanks for tensile, tear and hardness testing. Powered by stable compressed air, it delivers consistent vertical impact force to cut clean, burr-free specimens from rubber, silicone, TPE, plastic sheet, leather and composite elastomer materials.
Compatible with a full range of custom cutting dies including dumbbell molds, crescent tear molds, circular and rectangular punching tools, it eliminates uneven cutting and dimensional deviation caused by manual hammer cutting. This compact bench unit also serves as a mini light-duty pressing machine for small mold forming tasks, widely deployed in polymer R&D labs, footwear factories, cable material workshops and third-party material inspection institutes.

Standard Complete Test Sample Cutting Workflow

  1. Equipment Preparations
    Connect the machine to an external air compressor, adjust the pressure regulator to the target air pressure matching the hardness of raw materials, and place the corresponding cutting die flat on the workbench.
  2. Material Placement
    Lay rubber/plastic sheet evenly under the cutting die, ensure no wrinkles or offset to avoid irregular specimen edges after punching.
  3. Specimen Collection
    Take out the finished standard test specimen from the die, check for burrs or incomplete cutting; re-adjust air pressure if uneven cutting occurs.
  4. Batch Continuous Cutting
    Replace raw material sheets repeatedly for mass sample preparation, clean debris from the workbench after finishing all batches.
  5. Automatic Punching
    Press the start button; the air cylinder drives the die downward to complete cutting in one stroke, then automatically lifts back to the original position.
