Product Overview

The KR-101 rotorless moving die rheometer is professional oscillating cure testing equipment engineered for vulcanization characteristic analysis of all vulcanized elastomers, silicone compounds and modified plastics. Complying strictly with ASTM D5289, ISO 6502 and GB/T 16584 global test norms, it adopts sealed biconical die and lower die sinusoidal oscillation architecture to capture full vulcanization curve data.
During isothermal testing, the machine records real-time torque changes to calculate core indicators including minimum torque, maximum torque, scorch time (Ts1), optimum cure time (Tc90) and cure rate index. These precise rheological parameters support raw material incoming inspection, new rubber formula optimization and finished product stability verification, widely deployed in tire factories, automotive seal manufacturers, silicone product workshops, cable compound plants and accredited polymer R&D laboratories.

Standard Complete Test Operation Workflow

  1. Equipment Preheating & Parameter Setup
    Switch on the main unit and supporting computer, set target test temperature and holding duration via analysis software, wait for the die cavity to stabilize at preset temperature.
  2. Specimen Preparation & Placement
    Cut rubber compound into standard circular test blanks of specified thickness, place the sample evenly on the lower biconical die surface without offset or wrinkles.
  3. Automatic Die Sealing
    Press the start button; the pneumatic cylinder drives the upper die to descend and lock tightly to form a fully sealed high-temperature test chamber.
  4. Real-Time Vulcanization Curve Recording
    The lower die oscillates at fixed frequency continuously; the sensor transmits torque data to the computer in real time to draw complete vulcanization curve automatically.
  5. Parameter Calculation & Data Saving
    After reaching preset test time, the machine stops oscillation and lifts the upper die automatically. The software instantly computes Ts1, Tc10, Tc50, Tc90, min/max torque and cure index, then save test records.
  6. Post-Test Cleaning
    Take out cured specimen, wipe residual rubber from die cavity surface; cool down the cavity before the next batch testing.
