The KR-204C PC-controlled single-column universal testing instrument is a compact servo-driven mechanical performance test system, specially configured with a dedicated contact extensometer for ultra-precise strain measurement. It integrates precision force sensing, high-stability servo drive and professional material analysis software, and can complete tensile, compression, peel, tear, shear and constant-load creep tests for various non-metallic and thin metal specimens.
Different from ordinary tensile machines that only rely on crosshead displacement to calculate elongation, the matched high-precision extensometer directly captures tiny deformation on the specimen’s gauge section, eliminating measurement errors caused by frame deformation and fixture slippage. The machine automatically triggers overload protection when exceeding 110% rated load to protect the sensor.

    Multilingual bilingual test software supports one-click editing of test standards, freely switching metric and imperial units (N/kgf/lbf/ton). During the test, real-time stress-strain curves and strain data from the extensometer are displayed synchronously. Standard Complete Test Operating Process

  1. Equipment Connection & Parameter Presetting
    Connect the host, computer and extensometer signal line, launch the dedicated test software, select the corresponding test standard and set specimen size, test speed and stop condition parameters.
  2. Extensometer & Specimen Clamping
    Fix the test sample on upper and lower tensile clamps, then clip the extensometer to the middle standard gauge section of the specimen, ensuring the measuring probe fits closely to the sample surface without slipping.
  3. Force & Strain Zero Calibration
    Execute one-click zeroing for the load cell and extensometer strain signal to eliminate initial residual stress interference before formal stretching.
  4. Automatic Stretching Test
    Click the start button; the servo crosshead moves down at a constant preset speed, synchronously collecting real-time force, displacement and extensometer strain data, and drawing stress-strain curves on the screen in real time.
  5. Data Calculation & Curve Analysis
    After the specimen fractures, the machine automatically stops, and the software instantly calculates all mechanical property indicators. Users can zoom the curve, extract characteristic points and compare multiple groups of test data.
  6. Report Export & Daily Shutdown
    Save test records, export data tables or print formal inspection reports; remove the specimen and disassemble the extensometer, retract the crosshead to the origin position, and cut off the power supply after cleaning the fixture.
