The KR-718 differential scanning calorimeter is high-precision thermal analysis equipment built for capturing heat flow variations of materials during programmed temperature shifts. By measuring heat difference between test specimen and inert reference crucible, the instrument automatically generates DSC curves to detect thermal characteristic parameters including melting point, glass transition temperature, crystallization enthalpy, oxidation induction time and curing peak.
This complete DSC series covers multiple temperature ranges from ultra-low -150℃ up to high 1050℃, equipped with air cooling, semiconductor cooling and liquid nitrogen cooling options. Standard Test Operation Workflow

  1. Pre-Equipment Warm-Up & Calibration
    Power on the instrument and warm up for 30 minutes to stabilize furnace temperature; run automatic temperature calibration with standard indium sample to eliminate baseline offset before formal testing.
  2. Specimen Preparation & Crucible Loading
    Cut or grind solid samples into tiny uniform fragments, accurately weigh the specimen and seal inside matching aluminum crucible; place crucible on the sample holder, align empty reference crucible on the opposite side.
  3. Test Program Setup On Touch Panel
    Set target heating rate, holding time, terminal temperature and gas atmosphere parameters, save the customized test recipe for repeated batch inspection.
  4. Automatic Thermal Scanning Test
    Activate the test program; the furnace follows programmed temperature curve while the sensor continuously records heat flow difference, real-time DSC curve displays on touch screen and connected PC synchronously.
  5. Curve Analysis & Report Export
    After finishing heating/cooling cycle, use PC analysis software to mark melting peaks, Tg transition points and calculate enthalpy values; save data and generate printable formal test reports.
  6. Post-Test Cleaning & Storage
    Cool furnace down to room temperature, take out crucible and wipe residual sample residues; close gas valve and cut power, cover dust shield for long-term equipment protection.
