Rubber Rebound Resilience Impact Tester

Product Introduction

The KR-108B manual pendulum resiliometer is a standard lab instrument built strictly to ISO 4662 and GB/T 1681 specifications, dedicated to measuring rebound elasticity of vulcanized rubber with hardness ranging from 30 to 85 IRHD. It adopts 0.5J standard pendulum impact energy; after the pendulum strikes a standardized rubber specimen, the rebound angle is read from the precision dial to calculate the material’s rebound resilience percentage.
This bench-top tester delivers intuitive, repeatable elasticity data for rubber formula screening, finished product quality inspection and raw material incoming verification. It is widely deployed in automotive rubber workshops, silicone product factories, footwear material labs, university polymer research institutes and third-party accredited testing labs.

Core Product Advantages

  1. Standard 0.5J Calibrated Pendulum Assembly
Matching hemisphere impact hammer fully complies with international elastomer test standards. The hand-release pendulum design eliminates electrical signal interference during testing, ensuring consistent impact force for every specimen to avoid result deviation caused by automatic release instability.

    2.High-Definition Laser Graduated Dial Scale

Large curved dial with 1% minimal graduation spans 0–100% resilience range. Laser-etched scale lines stay clear and fade-proof after long-term use; the thin pointer enables direct, precise visual reading without complicated data conversion steps.

    3.Full Stainless Precision Moving Components

All sliding shafts, anvil brackets and pendulum connecting parts are precision-machined anti-rust stainless steel. Smooth sliding fit eliminates mechanical jitter during pendulum swing, stabilizing test conditions and extending equipment service life with minimal wear.

4.Stepless Adjustable Specimen Anvil Distance

Handwheel-driven horizontal adjustment mechanism supports 0–60mm anvil travel, compatible with single or stacked standard rubber discs (max 3 layers as permitted by standards). Operators quickly lock the target thickness position to fit different test piece sizes.

5.Stable Anti-Vibration Bench Structure

Heavy integrated cast base with four height-adjustable rubber foot pads levels the machine on uneven worktops, absorbing vibration during pendulum swings. High-temperature electrostatic powder coating prevents scratches and chemical corrosion in lab environments.

6.Simple Manual Operation, No Power Required

Fully mechanical structure works without electricity supply, suitable for small workshops and mobile test stations. New operators can complete specimen mounting and testing within 2 minutes after brief guidance.

Standard Complete Test Procedure

Step 1 Specimen Preparation & Conditioning

Cut or mold rubber into standard cylindrical blanks of Φ29–33mm × 12mm. Samples must rest 16 hours to 4 weeks post vulcanization, with at least 3 hours stabilization under 23℃ standard lab temperature to eliminate internal stress. Sticky specimen surfaces can be lightly dusted with talcum powder; a maximum of 3 flat parallel pieces may be stacked if single 12mm samples cannot be obtained.

Step 2 Machine Calibration & Sample Mounting

Rotate the handwheel to adjust the anvil to match specimen thickness, lock the positioning knob, then place the test disc flat on the fixed anvil without tilting.

Step 3 Pendulum Impact Test

Lift the pendulum to horizontal starting position and lock; release the hammer to strike the specimen six times continuously. Discard data from the first three conditioning impacts, record rebound percentages of the 4th, 5th and 6th strokes.

Step 4 Data Calculation

Take the median value of three valid readings, then compute the arithmetic average from at least two parallel test specimens as the final rebound resilience result.

Step 5 Post-Test Cleaning

Remove the specimen, wipe rubber residue off the impact hammer and anvil surface to prevent cross-contamination of subsequent test batches.
