The KR-110 bench-top open two-roll mixer is compact lab-scale kneeling equipment dedicated to polymer formula development, color matching and small-batch sample preparation. Equipped with dual independently controllable heating & water cooling roller barrels, it adopts differential speed twin roller structure to generate strong shear force, fully blending rubber, plastic pellets, color masterbatch and all kinds of filler additives into uniform, bubble-free compound sheets.
All core transmission and temperature control components adopt internationally renowned brand parts. The unit supports manual handwheel roller gap adjustment, dual frequency conversion speed regulation and multi-point emergency stop safety protection. It fully complies with national and international testing standards such as GB 6038, HG/T 2149, widely deployed in university material labs, new material R&D departments, third inspection institutes and plastic & rubber factory QC rooms.

    Rollers are manufactured from vanadium-titanium chilled cast iron, quenched and mirror hard chrome plated with surface hardness HRC50–60. Hollow internal flow channels realize fast, even heating & cooling, eliminating local overheating or cold spots that cause uneven mixing. Roller gap ranges from 0.1–10mm for flexible thickness control of finished sheets.

     

    2.Dual Independent Electric Heating & Water Circulation Cooling System

    Separate PID constant temperature modules for front & rear rollers, adjustable from ambient up to 300℃ with ±3℃ precision. Closed water circulation rapidly dissipates frictional heat during high-shear kneading, effectively preventing rubber scorching and plastic degradation for high-viscosity compound processing.

     

    3.Dual Frequency Conversion Drive, Customizable Roller Speed Ratio

    Two separate variable frequency motors power front & rear rollers independently. Multiple standard speed ratios (1:1.22 / 1:1.35 / 1:1.4 / 1:1.7) are optional to match different material viscosity, from soft silicone to rigid engineering plastics, ensuring sufficient shear dispersion without material tearing.

     

    4.Full-Range Multi-Point Emergency Safety Protection

    7 sets of collision emergency stop devices distributed around the machine frame, with instant roller reverse function triggered once the safety baffle is touched. All exposed transmission parts are covered by protective housings to avoid pinch hazards, fully meeting laboratory safety operation standards.

     

    5.Stable Transmission & Automatic Lubrication Design

    Hardened gear reducer delivers high torque with low running noise. Built-in automatic oil supply pump continuously lubricates bearings and gear sets during operation, eliminating manual frequent oiling and extending the service life of drive components.     6.Precise Manual Roller Gap Adjustment with Digital Readout

    Large three-spoke handwheel for easy gap fine-tuning, paired with digital display module to show real roller spacing values. Operators can quickly lock fixed sheet thickness for repeated batch sample preparation, guaranteeing consistent specimen dimensions for subsequent tensile, aging and abrasion testing.
