The KR-722A single-column desktop capillary viscometer is an entry-level cost-effective rheology testing device, specially designed for daily factory quality inspection and university routine material teaching experiments. It adopts compact single swing ram vertical frame layout, matched with precision servo drive and uniform integral heating barrel, which can stably test melt apparent viscosity, shear stress and flow characteristics of various thermoplastics and thermosetting polymers under different temperature and shear conditions.
This machine fully complies with ISO 11443 and ASTM D3835 global polymer fluidity testing standards, supporting constant speed, constant pressure and temperature scanning multiple test modes. It is equipped with user-friendly PC analysis software for automatic curve plotting and data storage, suitable for small and medium plastic factories, masterbatch manufacturers, polymer teaching laboratories and third-party basic inspection institutions with limited testing budgets.

The ultra-smooth inner bore resists abrasion from mineral fillers, colorants and inorganic additives, maintaining long-term dimensional stability to guarantee parallel test data repeatability. Standard Complete Test Operating Steps

  1. Preheating & Equipment Inspection
    Install the target capillary die into the heating barrel, power on the heating system and stabilize the set target temperature for 15 minutes, check the servo drive and pressure sensor signal status to ensure normal operation.
  2. Sample Loading Preparation
    Dry granular plastic raw materials to remove internal moisture, quantitatively load samples into the barrel cavity and place the plunger vertically to avoid material leakage during extrusion.
  3. Test Scheme Configuration
    Connect the host to the matched industrial computer, select constant speed / constant pressure / temperature scanning test mode, set test duration and data recording frequency, save custom test recipe for repeated batch detection.
  4. Automatic Extrusion Data Collection
    Start the servo drive program, the plunger pushes molten material through the standard die under stable power. The system continuously collects pressure, displacement and temperature signals to generate real-time rheology characteristic curves.
  5. Data Calculation & Report Export
    After the test cycle ends, the software automatically computes melt apparent viscosity and shear rate values, supports single batch or multi-group curve comparison, and generates standardized PDF test reports for filing.
  6. Cooling & Post-Test Cleaning
    Cool the heating barrel down below 100℃, disassemble the plunger and capillary die, thoroughly wipe residual molten plastic to prevent cross-contamination of different formula samples for the next test.
