The KR-722 high-load computerized capillary viscometer is a professional rheology detection instrument engineered to quantify melt flow, shear viscosity and viscoelastic behavior of thermoplastics, filled composites and metal injection molding feedstocks. By simulating high-shear extrusion, injection and blow molding production conditions in a lab environment, it collects real-time pressure, displacement and temperature signals to generate full rheological characteristic curves, delivering accurate data for formula development, production process adjustment and factory quality control.
This fully automated system adopts closed-loop servo driving and high-precision pressure sensing modules, paired with dedicated Windows-based rheology analysis software. It supports two core test modes: constant piston speed and constant extrusion pressure, covering low-viscosity polyolefins to high-hardness reinforced engineering plastics. Standard Complete Test Operation Flow

  1. Equipment Preheating & Die Installation
    Select matched tungsten carbide capillary die and lock into the heating barrel, power on the temperature control system and stabilize target temperature for 15–20 minutes to ensure uniform thermal field inside the cavity.
  2. Sample Drying & Loading
    Fully dry granular raw materials to remove internal moisture, quantitatively load the polymer sample into the barrel and vertically install the piston rod to avoid melt leakage during extrusion.
  3. Test Scheme Setup On Computer
    Open the dedicated rheology software, select constant speed or constant pressure test mode, set piston travel limit, data recording frequency and test duration, save custom test recipes for repeated batch inspection.
  4. Automatic High-Pressure Extrusion Test
    Activate the test program; the servo piston pushes molten material through the standard capillary die under stable preset load. The system continuously captures pressure, displacement and temperature data to generate real-time viscosity characteristic curves.
  5. Rheology Data Calculation & Comparison
    After the test cycle completes, the software automatically computes core rheology indicators and supports overlay analysis of multi-batch curves to compare fluidity differences of various formulations. Standard test reports can be printed and exported in one click.
  6. Pneumatic Cleaning & Equipment Shutdown
    Cool the heating barrel below 100℃, start the pneumatic auxiliary cleaning system to clear residual melt inside the cavity, disassemble the die for thorough wiping, then cut off heating and main power supply.
