The KR-714 drop ball rebound tester is a dedicated laboratory measuring device built to quantify elastic recovery performance of flexible cellular polymer materials including PU sponge, EVA foams, shoe midsole materials and cushion foams. It operates on free-fall steel ball impact principle: a standardized steel ball falls from fixed calibrated height onto flat foam specimen, high-precision optical sensors capture maximum rebound height, and the host automatically computes rebound rate as the core elastic evaluation index.
This testing unit fully satisfies global mainstream testing norms: ISO 8307 international standard, ASTM D3574 American foam specification and GB/T6670 domestic polyurethane foam standard. Standard Full Test Operation Process

    Power on touch control panel, select corresponding standard mode (GB 460mm / ASTM 500mm), set sampling times (3~5 groups per sample) and start standby state.
  4. Free-Fall Rebound Test
    Place the standard steel ball into the top magnetic holder, tap the test start button; the ball releases automatically for free fall impact. Optical sensors record peak rebound height instantly.
  5. Data Statistics & Report Printing
    After finishing preset sampling cycles, the microcomputer auto averages all rebound rate values. Operators tap print button to generate full test record paper report with all data retained.
  6. Post-Test Cleaning & Storage
