The RT-736 Hot Disc thermal property tester adopts internationally recognized Transient Plane Source (TPS) detection principle, capable of simultaneously capturing thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity and volumetric heat capacity of various materials in a single short measurement. Different from steady-state testing devices that require long heat balance cycles, this transient testing unit delivers fast, non-destructive detection without complicated sample polishing or customized molds, supporting solids, powders, slurries, colloids and liquid specimens.
Equipped dual interchangeable spiral probes and an ARM high-speed operation mainboard, the machine matches ISO 22007-2 and GB/T 32064 testing standards. It is widely deployed in new material R&D labs, construction insulation factories, polymer production lines, metal alloy research institutes and third-party thermal performance certification labs for raw material screening and finished product thermal stability verification.

Specimen temperature rise is controlled below 15℃ to avoid thermal deformation or internal structural changes of sensitive foam & plastic samples.

    Overall measurement accuracy reaches ±3%, with repeated test error controlled within 3%. Imported high-resolution signal acquisition chips capture micro temperature fluctuation data, paired with self-developed mathematical fitting algorithms to automatically calibrate raw signals and eliminate environmental temperature drift influence.

    4.Ultra-Wide Material Adaptability & Loose Sample Requirements

    No strict forming or ultra-flat polishing needed; samples only need smooth contact surfaces with length & width twice the probe diameter. Compatible with rigid metal blocks, soft rubber foams, cement boards, granular minerals, viscous pastes and transparent liquids, covering nearly all common industrial thermal testing scenarios.

    5.Touch Intelligent Control & Automatic Data Archiving

    7-inch color touch HMI integrates parameter setting, real-time curve display and one-click data export. Built-in USB data transmission module connects to laptops, automatically generating test reports with complete thermal parameter records for lab file management and third-party audit submission.

    6.Compact Detachable Sample Clamp Stage

    Vertical screw pressing fixture allows quick loading/unloading of specimens with different thicknesses. The whole stage is detachable for thorough cleaning after powder or slurry testing to prevent cross-contamination between different batches of test materials.

Standard Complete Test Workflow

  1. Specimen Preparation & Pre-Conditioning
    Cut or split samples into qualified sizes, remove surface dust and uneven burrs, then place specimens under room temperature environment for 30 minutes to reach thermal equilibrium with the lab atmosphere.
  2. Probe & Sample Clamping
    Select the matching spiral probe according to material thickness and thermal conductivity, sandwich the sensor between two identical sample blocks and fasten the vertical pressure fixture to maintain tight contact without gaps.
  3. Test Parameter Configuration
    Power on the touch control panel, set test duration and heating power based on material type, save customized test recipes for repeated batch testing.
  4. Automatic Transient Measurement
    Start the test program; the spiral sensor releases constant short heat pulses while continuously recording temperature variation curves. The host automatically calculates thermal conductivity, diffusivity and heat capacity once data collection finishes.
  5. Data Export & Result Recording
    Transmit real-time curve and parameter data to connected laptop via USB, save test reports in standard document format for batch comparison and quality filing.
  6. Post-Test Equipment Maintenance
    Unload samples, wipe residual powder or slurry off the spiral probe and fixture stage, store the sensor in dry dust-proof packaging to extend service life.
