The KR-110 dual-temperature lab open mixing mill integrates independent electric heating and circulating water cooling modules, designed for formula research, color matching and small-batch homogenization of rubber, silicone, PVC, TPE, color masterbatch and modified polymers. Differentiated from single-temperature roller machines, this model supports fast temperature rise and rapid heat dissipation simultaneously, effectively avoiding thermal degradation of heat-sensitive materials during long mixing cycles.
Four standard roller specifications (4/6/8/10 inch) are optional to match micro lab trials and medium pilot compounding tasks. The touchscreen PLC centralized control simplifies all parameter adjustments, while multi-layer safety interlocks fully meet domestic and international elastomer testing standards including GB 6038, GB/T 13577, HG/T 2149 and JB/T 53113. Standard Complete Mixing Operation Workflow

  1. Preheating Parameter Setup
    Power on the touch control cabinet, set target temperatures for front and rear rollers, activate heating or water cooling function, and wait until temperature readings stabilize before feeding raw materials.
  2. Raw Material Mastication & Folding
    Accurately weigh base polymer, pigments and functional additives, slowly feed materials into the roller nip. Repeatedly fold and thin-pass the stock to soften substrates and disperse filler clusters evenly.
  3. Roller Gap Calibration
    Rotate dual-side handwheels to lock target sheet thickness, repeatedly re-feed folded compound to eliminate color unevenness and particle agglomeration.
  4. Continuous Specimen Sheeting
    After full homogenization, pull smooth uniform sheets from the roller gap, then cut into standard blanks for tensile, aging, hardness and abrasion performance testing.
  5. Shutdown Cooling & Maintenance
    Turn off the heating system first, keep water cooling and rollers running until surface temperature drops below 60℃ before power-off. Wipe roller surfaces completely and check lubricant tank liquid level for the next batch.
