The KR-718 synchronous thermal analysis instrument integrates three core thermal detection technologies: thermogravimetry (TGA), differential thermal analysis (DTA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). It completes synchronous collection of sample weight loss curve, heat flow difference curve and temperature change curve under identical heating & atmosphere conditions in a single test run, realizing one-machine multi-functional thermal characterization for polymer, rubber, composite and inorganic raw materials.
This equipment is also equipped with dedicated OIT oxidative induction time test module, fully compliant with GB/T 17391, ISO 11357-6 and ASTM D3895 standards. It can rapidly evaluate material anti-oxidation aging performance, thermal decomposition temperature, melting & crystallization enthalpy, filler content and residual ash ratio, widely used in plastic pipe factories, cable material labs, new composite R&D institutions and CNAS certified testing centers.

Standard OIT Oxidation Induction Time Test Standard Workflow

  1. Equipment Preheating & Gas Circuit Inspection
    Turn on instrument power, preheat furnace cavity to standby temperature, check nitrogen and oxygen pipeline pressure stability, calibrate gas flow rate according standard test recipe.
  2. Specimen Loading & Crucible Placement
    Cut polymer sample into thin uniform slices, weigh quantitative specimen and place into standard crucible, lock crucible support bracket inside the furnace heating zone.
  3. OIT Test Program Setup
    Select built-in standard polyolefin test procedure: heat up at 20℃/min to 200℃, hold constant temperature for 7 minutes under nitrogen protection, set automatic oxygen switching timing parameter and save the recipe.
  4. Automatic Constant-Temperature Aging Test
    The equipment executes full unattended cycle: nitrogen inert heat preservation stage → auto switch oxygen atmosphere, the sensor continuously records heat flow change curve to capture oxidation exothermic mutation point.
