RT-723C Carbon Black Content Apparatus is suitable for determining carbon black content in polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutylene plastics, cable and fiber optic cable insulation and sheath materials, and rubber. It conforms to the national standards GBT 3515-2005, GBT 13021-1991, GB∕T2951.41-2008, IEC60811-4-1:2004, ISO 6964 ASTM D1603, etc. A certain amount of sample is pyrolyzed at high temperatures in nitrogen flow, and the carbon black content is obtained by analyzing the weight of the pyrolyzed piece.

The KR-723C carbon black content measuring instrument adopts standard nitrogen pyrolysis gravimetric testing principle. Under strictly controlled inert high-temperature environment, it decomposes polyolefin matrix completely, retains carbon black and inorganic ash residues, then automatically calculates carbon black proportion and ash content through mass difference comparison.

This integrated tube furnace testing machine fully complies with global mainstream industry specifications including ISO 6964, ASTM D1603, IEC 60811, and domestic GB/T series standards. Standard Complete Test Operating Process

Specimen Weighing & Loading
Cut plastic/rubber sample into tiny fragments, accurately weigh initial mass on matched 0.0001g analytical balance, place samples evenly on the sliding quartz boat rack and push into the central heating zone of the quartz tube.

2.Program Parameter Editing

On touch panel, set segmented pyrolysis temperature, constant holding duration and nitrogen flow rate according to corresponding material standard; save custom test recipe for repeated batch testing.

3.Inert Atmosphere Pyrolysis Stage

Start automatic program; nitrogen fills the tube furnace to isolate oxygen, furnace heats up to target pyrolysis temperature to fully decompose plastic polymer components, leaving carbon black and inorganic ash residues.

4.Air Calcination Ashing Stage

After pyrolysis finishes, equipment automatically switches to air atmosphere and rises to high calcination temperature to burn off carbon black completely, only inorganic ash remains inside the sample boat.

5.Automatic Index Calculation
