The KR-740 TGA thermogravimetric analyzer is a precision thermal analysis lab instrument built on classic thermogravimetry theory. It continuously records mass variation of specimens under programmable temperature curves and adjustable gas environments, outputting TG, DTG and derivative thermal curves for quantitative material component analysis.
This equipment realizes full-process unattended testing by combining ultra-sensitive microbalance, high-stability heating furnace and intelligent PC analysis system. It complies with ASTM E1131, ISO 11358 and domestic thermal test standards, widely deployed in polymer factories, pharmaceutical labs, new energy material R&D centers, inorganic mineral plants and CNAS accredited third-party testing institutes. Standard Complete Test Operation Flow

  1. Equipment Preheating & Calibration
    Power on the furnace and balance chamber for 30 minutes preheating to reach constant internal temperature; run automatic weight calibration procedure with standard reference weights to eliminate weighing zero drift.
  2. Specimen Loading
    Weigh pulverized or sliced sample and place into clean alumina crucible, hang the crucible steadily on balance suspension hook without touching furnace inner wall.
  3. Test Program Setup
    Connect the instrument to analysis PC, edit customized temperature program (heating segments, holding time, cooling steps) and set target atmosphere gas & flow parameters, save the test method file.
  4. Automatic Thermal Cycle Test
    Start the test program; the furnace executes programmed temperature changes while the microbalance continuously records specimen mass data. The system generates real-time TG and DTG curves displayed on computer screen.
  5. Post-Test Data Analysis
    After finishing heating & cooling cycle, stop the equipment. The software automatically identify weight loss stages, calculate volatile content, residual ash and decomposition onset temperature; edit and export formal inspection reports.

 

6.Daily Maintenance

Cool the furnace down to room temperature, take out crucible and clean residual sample residues; close gas valves and cut off power supply, cover dust shield for long-term storage.
