The KR-727 high-voltage tracking tester is a dedicated safety performance testing platform for solid electrical insulation materials. It simulates harsh operating environments combining power-frequency alternating current, direct current and continuous dripping conductive contaminant liquid, accelerating the formation of conductive carbon traces and surface ablation on sample surfaces. The equipment quantifies material tracking resistance grade by recording voltage breakdown duration and leakage threshold, evaluating the long-term insulation safety of plastics, composite insulators and electrical structural parts under damp polluted conditions.
The whole machine strictly follows GB/T 6553-2014 and IEC 60587 international testing specifications, and meets the technical inspection requirements of DL/T 810 composite insulator industry standard. Standard Complete Test Operating Process

Pre-Equipment Parameter Configuration
Power on the touch control system, call the matching standard scheme according to the target test voltage; set test duration, calibrate contamination liquid flow rate, and check whether the interlock protection function of the test chamber door is normal.
- Specimen Installation & Electrode Calibration
Clean the surface of the insulating test sample, fix it on the inclined sample bracket inside the cavity, adjust the upper and lower electrodes to keep the standard 50mm gap, and lock the chamber door tightly to trigger the high-voltage enable circuit.
- Contamination Liquid Pipeline Pre-Filling
Start the liquid pump to pre-circulate conductive liquid, confirm uniform continuous droplet outflow at the drip head without interruption or uneven flow, then reset the test timing to zero.
- Automatic High-Voltage Tracking Test
Activate the high-voltage output program; the equipment continuously applies set AC/DC voltage while dripping standard conductive liquid onto the sample surface. The system monitors real-time leakage current and records the time point of tracking breakdown automatically.
- Test Data Storage & Result Recording
