Standard Complete Test Operation Steps

1. Sample Preprocessing
   Place fertilizer specimens in low-humidity constant temperature environment to fully remove absorbed moisture; break large particle agglomerates with the matching stirring rod, screen out oversized particles exceeding 5mm diameter as prohibited per standard rules.
2. Equipment Horizontal Calibration
   Adjust the four base leveling feet until the bubble in the central spirit level sits in the middle, confirm the measuring cylinder stands perfectly vertical directly under the funnel outlet.
3. Gravity Free Blanking Test
   Close the funnel bottom valve, fill with fully homogenized fertilizer granules, slowly open the valve to let material naturally flow down and fully fill the volumetric cylinder without shaking or tapping the device.
4. Leveling & Weighing
   Use the dedicated scraper to horizontally scrape off surplus granules on the cylinder top surface, keep the internal material in natural loose stacking condition, then weigh the full cylinder with precision analytical balance.
5. Density Calculation & Data Recording
   Calculate loose bulk density = total fertilizer mass / calibrated cylinder volume; conduct two parallel repeated tests and take the average value as official test result for filing.
6. Post-Test Cleaning
   Dump out all residual fertilizer granules, wipe the inner wall of funnel and cylinder with dry cloth to avoid cross-contamination of different fertilizer formulations in subsequent tests.
