Product Introduction
The KR-128 modular torque rheometer is a full-process polymer rheology testing platform built to replicate industrial compounding, extrusion and vulcanization conditions within lab environments. It captures real-time torque, melt temperature, pressure and rotation speed data, generating intuitive torque-time and torque-temperature curves to quantify plasticization performance, shear stability, cross-linking reaction and filler dispersion of all types of polymer raw materials.
This all-in-one system adopts a split modular design, freely compatible with internal mixers, single-screw extruders and parallel twin-screw modules to realize multi-scenario rheology characterization. It fully complies with ASTM D4440, ASTM D2538, ISO 6721 and domestic plastic testing norms, widely deployed in polymer R&D labs, PVC compound factories, rubber vulcanization workshops, new energy material institutes and third-party material certification labs for formula screening, raw material incoming inspection and production process parameter optimization.

- High-Precision Servo Drive & Cantilever Torque Sensor
Equipped imported closed-loop servo drive system to deliver 2–200rpm stepless adjustable rotation speed with speed error controlled below 0.5%FS. Self-developed cantilever beam torque sensor features 0.05%FS ultra-high resolution, fast signal response and wide 0–400N.m measuring range (customizable), accurately capturing subtle melt resistance changes during material plasticization.

Three-section independent heating circuit paired with high-precision T-type thermocouples, temperature range covers ambient temperature up to 350℃ (500℃ high-temperature version optional) with ±0.5℃ constant temperature precision. Fast heating speed reaches 200℃ within 11 minutes, eliminating temperature drift interference during long continuous mixing tests.

Wireless communication between mainframe and industrial PC avoids electromagnetic signal interference from workshop equipment. Supporting three sets of dedicated analysis software: mixer kneading program, extrusion rheology program and melt viscosity calculation program, realizing multi-curve superposition, data smoothing, automatic peak marking and one-click test report export.

The universal main drive unit can be rapidly matched with auxiliary modules including single-screw extruder, parallel twin-screw extruder, automatic weighing feeding device, three-roll calender and film blowing unit. Standard Test Operation Flow (Mixer Kneading Mode)
- Equipment Preheating & Parameter Setting
Install matched rotor and lock mixing chamber, set target temperature and rotation speed on PC software, start heating cycle until each zone reaches constant set temperature for 10 minutes stabilization.
- Sample Feeding & Sealing
Weigh standard volume polymer sample, pour into the feeding hopper, rotate hand wheel to press feeding piston to fully seal the mixing cavity and prevent material overflow during kneading.
- Automatic Kneading Rheology Test
Start the test program; counter-rotating rotors generate uniform shear force on molten material. The system continuously collects torque, temperature and time data to draw real-time rheological curves.
- Data Analysis & Curve Comparison
After preset mixing duration, stop the equipment and cool down the cavity. Software automatically identifies fusion peak, minimum torque and cross-linking characteristic points, supports overlapping multiple groups of experimental curves for formula performance comparison.
- Discharging & Chamber Cleaning
Open the mixing chamber after cooling to safe temperature, take out fully kneaded material and clean rotor and cavity inner wall with special cleaning tools to avoid cross-contamination of different formulations.
- Data Report Export
Save all test raw data and curves, generate standardized inspection reports containing fusion time, equilibrium torque and thermal stability indicators, export as editable PDF/Excel files for laboratory filing.
